Olympic Zeron Epoxy

Has anyone used the zeron system or the in the swim epoxy patch? Both use the Olympic epoxy catalyst.

I ordered epoxy patch from Amazon. The can of catalyst looked old and did not have a white plastic seal on top. Inside the product was thick and looked dried out. It's the consistency of peanut butter or a thick paste.

Is that normal, or is it supposed to be runnier? I can't get a straight answer from anyone who sells this stuff.

I would never buy a specialized product like that from Amazon. Return it as defective and find an authorized distributor you can deal directly with.

I did just that. It wasn't returnable, but they gave me a refund as defective. I might still try to use it. Depends how it mixes up.
