Old Pool pH Always Up

For me, 1 is clear, 2 is kind of grey, 3 is light blue, and 4 is more royal blue.

The color does not so much matter as much as being able to tell when the color stops changing. You always add drops until the last one causes not color change and then do not count that drop.

Ah, that's not how I see it. It never changes color for me. It's always blue.
 
Well, it turns out I'm a dummy and my TA is still actually 100. When I measured last time I absentmindedly filled the container to 10 mL instead of 25 mL required by the TA test. I'm leaning more towards to calcium eating my acidity in light of that information.
