No Ground visible in aluminum light niche

Taking a closer look at this light... I had a history of turning off by itself and finally stopped. I picked up a new transformer- 300watt. The bulb is also 300watt....

As you can see it’s an old school Pentair set up. I did locate the ground wire within the cord, but seems like I’ve seen some with a separate ground.

Any thoughts? We’ve not had any issues - just thought I would ask while the pool is empty. Thank you!!

A bonding jumper is required in a nonmetalic conduit unless a listed low-voltage lighting system not requiring grounding is used.

The bonding jumper is a supplemental ground in addition to the ground in the light cord.

Since you have a low voltage light, the bonding jumper should not be required.

The light installation manual should specify if the light requires a ground.
