Look in my signature. There is a link called Pool Math. It is awesome! It does all of the work for you! There is a learning curve so play with it and see how it works.
Note the NOW and GOAL at the top of the tool. Look down at the bottom and change the setting to Trouble Free Pool.
Get the pool full. Run the pump for about 30 mins as well as brush the pool. This will mix up the water so you get a good read for the tests. THAT is when you want to run a full set of tests.
