Well the pool passed the OCLT so I believe I'm on solid ground as it relates to the pool chemistry. I was in the pool last night and even at FC of 24.5 there were no red eyes of chlorine smell. I'll let things drift down to normal levels and enjoy the rest of the season. If I'm at 23.5 and my target is 7 can I forecast with some degree of accuracy how long it will take to get to 7?
Glad to hear you passed the OCLT. Are your CC's less than 0.5ppm as well?
You will loose 2-4ppm a day to bather load and sun, so to drop 17ppm will take 4-7 days. Keep an eye on it though incase the chlorine demand is higher for some reason. You don't want to drop to minimum unexpectedly.
