In the process of refinishing pool deck (1988 kooldeck) and plaster (with epoxy paint). Have heavy scaling all around the pool on the tile at the waterline. Pool is empty. Want to clean tile before attacking the painting. Thinking of water/muriatic acid with brass or stainless bristle brush. Any pointers would be appreciated for the scaling or products with good results for deck or pool paint. Thanks.
