Should I wait to add chlorine until the CYA levels come up? Right now the FC's are at 0, but it's also night time. Do you think I should put a gallon in the pool for now to protect from algae and such until things balance out?
Here are my numbers after a full drain and refill, after a 30 minute run time of the pump/filtration system.
FC: 3.5
CC: 0
pH: 7.5
TA: 170
CH: 250
CYA: 0 (nothing registering yet, even though 4 full cups have disolved from a sock in the skimmer)
Here are some pictures of the water. There is a little green tinge to it, but maybe I'm just color blind after all this time spent on the pool. What do you guys think?
Deep end picture of the drain. There is a bit of wind so the water is choppy.
The water is looking nicer after a day brushing and filtering like Richard suggested. All the levels are looking good as well. I performed an OCLT last night to see where things stood and it only lost .5 ppm of FC. The CC's are still at 0.
Right now the levels are here:
FC: 3.0
CC: 0
pH: 7.4
TA: 160
CH: 250
CYA: 20
Now on to the pictures.... Thanks guys for the help with this.
