Getting that Oak removed was a process. Would you believe that I called 5 tree companies and only 2 called me back? I have had trees removed at a previous house, so I had a good idea what it would cost. Believe it or not, we found a company to remove for $1,100, which I thought was very reasonable.

Wait! What? You paid to have a tree removed?? Never heard of that one. When I was growing up people paid us to let them cut down trees. You just called the one of the firewood sales guys and they would come with cash in hand. Boy have times changed.

Thought I post a few updates photos. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

They are forming the concrete tomorrow and will pour on Tuesday. Hopefully we will be swimming by next Friday!

make sure they grade around your pool properly, it looks like the water from that large hill could direct runoff into your pool if they don't.

Glad you are thinking ahead on the drainage. There is a pool owner that just bought a house/pool that are having major water problems from runoff
