New Pool Heat Pump

I am replacing my old heat pump, and hooking up my Iaqualink to it. Here is where the old Iaqualink was connected.
would i just hook the new heat pump in the same location, the round device with blue wire is that the temp switch? Thank you

What model was your old heat pump and what model heat pump are you replacing it with?

Show us where on the Aqualink board the heat pump control wire connects to.

the wires connected to the green terminal bar, right side labeled low Voltage Heat on the Iaqualink. It looks like it was spliced in on the blue wire from temp switch, the old heat pump was a Jandy Aquacal 18 years old. The new heat pump is Ruud 140 Heat Pump sold by Recreation Warehouse. Thanks for the help.

That is not the temp switch. It looks like the water pressure switch.

The heater control should be connected to the "firemans switch" in the heater. The heater installation manual should explain where to connect it.
