More likely a drop count or sample error. Do you check your meniscus?

There is always too much worry about the amount of DPD powder. It is not that critical. Really, it isn't and a heaping scoop won't make a difference over a good full scoop.

Too little powder will affect the test. Too much won't.

I fill to the bottom of the concave. It really could be to little powder. Didn't realize alittle extra is ok.

Put a full scoop, and it will be plenty There is no need to put less.
