Hello! Really interesting pool design. Your selections look pretty good, though you’ll want to remove the Nature2 Fusion system. It’s a mineral system. Minerals means copper, which is not needed for sanitization and furthermore, is a big negative because introducing copper to your water is bad. It will cause staining at some point. And there is no good cure once copper is in there, except to drain your pool and start over. Just stay away regardless of how good the PB says it is. Replace it with one of Jandy’s SWG’s rated for 2x the size of your pool in gallons

Highly recommend a channel drain instead of the dual round ones. Robots get stuck or delayed on the round ones routinely. And then the robot. You’ll want to get a robot outside of your pool contract for vacuuming duties.

Definitely buy the robot elsewhere. I got mine from Marina Pools and Spa in Colorado. Just send them an email. I saved almost $900 from buying on my own. And as mentioned above, ditch the mineral system. I love the shape. It's very unique and you dont see it often. I cant wait to watch the progress.

Can you send me a picture of what you mean by the drains. Being so new I’d like to visualize?

Gunite day! Apprently too big for a one day shoot. Any issues with that?

Nope. They probably do it all the time and there is no concern with the joint.

I dont know if I missed it but... what is the big hole in the center of the pool?

It’s a 2 day shoot so it’s still not done. Looks like it’d hold a bunch of CO’s.

And that’s a wrap! Had a quick 20 minute downpour with hail as they were wrapping.
center hole filled with concrete for support i’m told.
treching for electric and plumbing and techo bloc pool deck while it cures.
small scuff in the hot tub, I’m told will repair when they plaster.

What's with the two pumps on the right? One draws from two sources and returns on a smaller diameter pipe? The pump on the right also has smaller diameter returns than the feed?

Just curious, not saying WTF. haha.
No idea, your guess is as good as mine. I guess I’ll ask tomorrow. Got home from work and it went from nothing to all this.

Haven't posted an update in awhile. Back fill Decking is going in fast and furious, waiting on coping to arrive tomorrow and then they can tile. Was told 10-14 days for the water, we shall see.
