Our pool water warmed up into the low 90s, and it was time to experiment with a PVC fountain. It's amazing how well it works. The water was down to 85F last night.

We used light walnut honed travertine tiles for the waterline. At first, I was hesitant to use a natural stone in the water, but our PB has been using it successfully for a long time here in Houston. We looked at porcelain tiles that looked like travertine but the real stone ended up being a much better match.

Hello appelbe - thanks for sharing your beautiful pool pics. We are planning one and debating on the height of raised wall. What is the height of your wall with sheer descent?
