New Pebble finish - acid wash the same day??

Hi All! We just had a new pool built and they are about to install Stonescapes French Gray Mini Pebble finish. They just told me they will do the acid wash the same day as the pebble application. Isn’t it supposed to be done the following day to give it time to cure?? Thank you!!
 
Exposed aggregate pool finishes do have a curing time prior to being acid washed. Weather conditions have a direct impact on the amount of time before the acid wash so if the weather is hot that time frame is shortened. I personally have not seen it written down on the exact time frame, only that it needs a curing period prior to the acid wash.
