Wow that is amazing! Did they color the rocks? They looked more red in the other pics. Is that silver travertine? I love how everything goes with each other and the beautiful mountains in the back ground. The rocks are so lovely!! What color plaster is that?
Thanks! The rocks are not colored. they are a beautiful grey, some with white marbled streaks and others with rust colored stains. the rocks also look different because in one photo it is cloudy and then sunny in the other. also alters the color of the water. the deck is silver travertine and the plaster is a pebbled finish called stonescapes, tropics blue - puerto rico blend- which has abalone and glass beads. you can tell one photo was in the spring with green hills and the other is the summer with brown hills! yesterday it was 105 degress and the pool got to 90 degrees - no need for any heating around here! we were in it all afternoon. i have to upload some photos of when the grotto and waterfalls are on.
Ah ok that makes sense! We are going with silver travertine as well. I think it is stunning and your project confirms that further. I love the color of the water. Thanks for sharing!
You know you could make my day every day just taking pictures and sharing them! Take a little tour each day of the different areas. I SO love this set up!
Are you having any issues with those boulders (are they Baja Cresta boulders) bleeding into the water with the red? What is it like maintaining pool chemistry / cleaning? Can you post a picture of the pool equipment pad?
