I have a Intex Krystal Clear above Ground Sand pump and it is leaking at the pre filter, where the leaves etc. are collected. I have let the air out at both the top and drained a little at the bottom of the pre-filter sealed but it continues to leak between the connection to the motor. I have ordered an new "O" ring. Any suggestions? I have also looked to see if possible to buy the pre-filter and the motor without the sand container cannot find. Appreciate any help.

Since you mentioned an O-ring, did you try applying some pool silicone lube to it? Might help.
