New House Equipment Question

Hello,
Moving into a new house in a few weeks with a pool from 2004. I paid for a pool inspection and everything works. Just curious if a system like this is approaching end of life and will need an expensive retrofit soon? Is the pump variable speed? The “oxidizer” was unplugged so not sure about that just yet.

Leave the Oxidizer thing unplugged. Does nothing and not needed.

The pump motor is single speed. Pictures will not zoom in enough to see what THP they are.

Hard to say on lifespan. Filters should last along time. Cartridges may or may not be OK - depends on how much pool store potions have been used. The Heater, who knows. I don't see an inline chlorinator, so that is good. But I suspect tablets were then put in the skimmer, which is not so good.

The Automation is dated. But might be just fine.

I would plan on upgrading to a VS motor/pump in the not too distant future.
