Second quote. When I asked for itemized he replied -

We don't really itemize since most of the items in the base are necessary and can't be taken out. I can tell you that if you did not want the Water feature Wall's on the back of the pool with the sheer's it would be a deduct of $4,607.00. If you do not want us to do the 244 sf of travertine deck, it would be a deduct of $3,660.00. (For that you may be able to find someone that does the travertine cheaper.)
Thanks

Consider 3.5‘ depth versus 3’. That extra 6” makes a difference in swimming.

Confirm depths are minimum water depth to middle of skimmer and not to top of bond beam.

If the spa jet pressure is important to you then you want a dedicated spa jet pump.

I would want the IntelliChlor SWG.

I would not make full payment prior to interior finish. I want at least 10% holdback until pool and all equipment is fully operational.

A couple of the computer drawings from the first quote. Now i'm not sure if I want the wall with water falls or just a clean rectangle look with 2 or 3 deck jets like in the 3rd pic. Also i'll have the bench run the length of the right side of the pool and not to the left of the spa. Screen Shot 2022-02-23 at 9.44.12 AM.jpgIMG_0418.jpgIMG_3346.jpeg

Deck jets are noisy. Really noisy. We have them. Have used them a handful of times, for just a few minutes. I would not get them.

Be ware all water features to generate noise. And you want to limit their use to only when you are directly enjoying their operation. They drive up pH and disturb your pool water chemistry.

Do you have a whole house water softener? If so, be sure your auto fill line is plumbed in to soft water.

+2 - Mine are stupid noisy. Good for the kids, but other than that they don't get used unless I'm showing off.

I don't have a water softener...at least not as of now.

Is the area behind the spa where you’ll usually be sitting? If it is you will want a short spa so it doesn’t block sitelines to the pool. Ours is a 6” bond beam. I wish I had understood that better though because I thought it would be 6” above the deck but with the 4” deck the spa is only 2” above the deck, which would be good if that is your main seating area. If that isn’t your main sitting area then you might want it taller. I wish ours could have been raised 18” just to make it easier to get in and out of. At 18” you can sit on the edge and swing your legs around.
