I used the pool calculator to raise my PH from 7.2 to 7.5 with Borax yesterday, and it worked like a charm. Then last night I added the final 1/2 cup of Dichlor. So now that's 3# total of Dichlor in the pool over 1 week's time. This morning my FC is 6.5 and I will test the CYA in another day or so to see if I have hit 30 yet.
I'll also need to check and see if my TA has come down from 220 where it started with my city water used to fill. I'll post full test results in a day or two.
All in all everything seems to be going well. The water is clear and I'm running the pathetic Intex pump/filter 24/7.
