Hi, I've learned soooo much from these forums and now it's my turn to ask a question. Everything in my inherited pool was original so it's time to replace my worn out switch, but I'm not sure which one to get. I've researched a lot and I think I can use the T104P, but the model number on my old one was the J1104R, which apparently doesn't exist anymore. I'm planning on replacing it myself, including changing to a plastic box since my original one is old & rusty. I'm a little intimidated working with electricity but I've watched a lot of videos and I know I can at least label wires and re-connect them back the way they were (once the power's off).
Pics of my original timer for reference. Thanks for your help!

Intermatic T104R is the rain resistant enclosure with the timer to replace your current one.
It has a metal box. Not sure if the T104P with the plastic box ix code compliant for outdoor pool use.
