Trying to SLAM but I can't get the ph down to save my life!
Initial tests from TF-100
Chlorine 0
Cya 30
Akalinity 50
Ph above 8.4(showed 9.7 on calibrated ph meter)
I got akalinity up to 90 with baking soda
2 hours later I added 5lbs dry acid as directed by pool math app. Checked ph again in another 2 hours and it was only down to 8.8(ph meter)
This morning I checked again and ph was back up to 9.4, went and bought 2 gallons of muratic acid 20 Baume. Added 47 Oz to get down to 7.2 as directed by pool math.
Checked again 2 hours later ph is at 8.4 and akalinity down to 50.
What am I doing wrong ??
