I started my slam last night. I didnt realize my bottle of DPD powder had turned rock hard. I thought I had another bottle but didnt. I doubt any local pool store has any, thus it will be Tues/ wed before Amazon delivers. Any helpful advice?

Crush up the R0870 and try to use it. If it turns the water sample pink/red, it is good.
I wondered if that would work. Probably not enough product to do testing more than 2x a day over the long weekend. But I will try it. thanks.

I get rock like chunks in mine and they work fine. I say crush it up and try it.

It got me to today. Thanks amazon for sunday delivery! I did a test. Trued crushed. Color changed at 20 drops. Tried new powder. Color changed at 30 drops. Quite a difference

That’s a big difference indeed! I haven’t ever seen that large a difference in mine with rocks vs new but yours was far worse than I’ve ever seen. Glad you have the new supply. Good luck on the SLAM.
