We are having our concrete stamped decking poured this week and the PB is using Deck O Drains where the poured deck meets up with the house and where it will meet up with the existing concrete patio. They have prepped the forms and I've notice that they have NAILED the Deck O Drains to the house and patio using wooden stakes every few feet. Is this correct? Why would you nail through something that is supposed to wisk water away from the house? To me, all these nail holes directly thru the drains are just going to invite water to seep under the concrete decking.
Am I wrong to be concerned here? What is the correct way to adhere/hold the deck o drains in place while pouring concrete?
Thanks!!
