Hello. I'm in Sacramento, CA. Just bought my first pool (Intex 18ft X 9ft X 52in Ultra XTR). Never had or used an above ground pool before, so I'm a bit overwhelmed with the information. I figured out that the included pump would not be sufficient enough, so got an upgraded one. Also bought a skimmer, a vacuum, and a solar cover. Now I'm trying to figure out what to put under the pool and what I need to use for chemicals (my pump has the salt water feature, but I'm not sure if I would be using it). So I will be posting my questions very soon. Thanks for providing such a great resource. I already learned a lot by reading multiple discussions.
