Returned from two week vacation to a slightly cloudy pool. SLAMed for the past three days.

Starting measurements:
CYA - 40
pH - 7.8
TA - 150
FC - 0

Dosed to bring pH to 7.4. Then dosed to bring FC to 16 and have been holding it there with 4 checks a day.

Yesterday it looked dang clear by the end of the day, and CC had fallen from 2.0 at the start to 1.0 as of yesterday noon.

I figured it was time to do an OCLT. I passed with 0.5 loss in FC. However, my CC remains at 1.0

I know this means I must continue slamming. Do I need to re-perform the OCLT test, or do I just maintain SLAM levels until CC drops to 0.5?

Do I need to do another OCLT after I drop below 0.5 CC?
No. Let it go. These guidelines are just that.....guidelines. If you try to split fine hairs, you will exceed the limitations of your kit and your ability to test.

Do another check in a few days but let your FC drift down to normal and go swimming.
