Move over Algae, wind, pollen and everything that comes with is my enemy now

Fairly breezy today and the top of the water is showing it. The skimmers have been cleaned out already, but the manual skimmer (me) is doing a few laps around the pool getting the floaters out.

Pollen has been fairly bad, turned my car yellow and I see a yellow ring around the pool wall every so often when the water stops circulating.

What's the best way to handle or get in front of this?

Sure. Use hairnets on the skimmer basket.

I'm too lazy to do it by hand. The wind has been howling the wrong direction for a day and a half and I have all kids of floating crud messing up the sparkle.

The wind will subside eventually and the returns/skimmers will get back to working fine. There might be a little more crud on the bottom the next time I vac. The price of beer will remain unchanged.
