Hello fellow pool caretakers. I'm doing some research on this very subject. any additional advise would be appreciated. see my sigy for equipment.

ok, my gal just came up with a few questions, how much of a flow/pressure change is there with the motor on low, should there be enuf to run our kreapy krawly as the current motor is doing now? not to knowledgeable on hydro dynamics yet.

It depends. If you are running the cleaner only without bypassing any of the suction water, then probably not. However, if you have valves that are set so they are only partially pulling from the cleaner, then it may be possible to adjust the flow to the cleaner so you can run at lower RPM.
