What could the milky looking stuff be in my water and filters? It was even settled on the bottom of the pool this am. I put 4 qrts MM in 2 days ago trying to get rid of some stains that I've had for a long time and kept ignoring:hammer: I did lose 50ppm calcium doing this. Still have the dang stains. Might just have to live with them and try to keep anymore from developing:(
Numbers:
pH 7.2
TC 4
TA 50
CH 150 was 200 before MM
CYA 45 Usually 70 but been draining a lot due to lots of rain.
Salt 2700 Usually 3000 but been draining a lot due to lots of rain
Swapped out filters and rinsed a lot of milky stuff out the used ones. Soaking in TSP now. Clean ones in.
I would like to raise the pH and TA but am hesitant to add borax at this time.
Should I just keep filtering and swapping filters till it clears up?
Thanks for any input.
