Michigan salt water pool peeps

Hello,
We had a saltwater pool built during the summer of 2021. It ended up being a nightmare with too many problems to share. We now have a nice backyard/pool area and are enjoying our pool. We need to continue learning tips and tricks as far as managing/caring for our pool. Thanks in advance for all your advice!

Your new pool is not salt water and no SWG then? (just confirming)

I assume the problems were with the pool build, and not the saltwater system. Is that correct???
