Mesh Cover Patches

Do the adhesive repair patches work well, and stay stuck to a mesh safety cover?
I used some Gorilla Duct Tape and it does ok on small patches, but bigger spots the edges don't stay stuck too well. Probably not enough surface area, so I'm looking at the larger patch kits on Amazon to see if they last.

I have used the loop loc mesh patch kit for my repairs and they have lasted years thus far. They have them on Amazon.
