Looking for some advise on where to start trouble shooting… my spa is green and does not seem to respond to chlorine like the pool does.

Symptoms:

- Only one of the jets spits and sputters like there is air in the system (or leak?).
- The spa has been draining down, seemingly more when the jet pump is running.
- my system was totally off for an extended period of time due to a newborn/Texas Ice apocalypse 2024. This is new since startup this season

Show us pictures of your equipment pad so we can see what you are working with.

How long did you let the jets run to try and clear the air out of it?

How many jets do you have?

How do you change from POOL mode to SPA mode?

I have a Jandy handheld timing devise and the spa runs daily for 30min. It will spit and sputter for the duration of the morning run time and has been doing so for weeks.

I have three pumps - main filter pump, spa, and water feature. When the s

There are 7 total jets in the spa, and 4 run with the spa pump on until you flip the secondary valve to 'spa' (then all jets will run).

How do you switch between POOL and SPA modes?

I do not see actuator on your valves that would connect to your Aqualink.

Which valve is the secondary valve you flip? You need to explain your valves to us.

Do you have separate systems for pool and spa?

Sometimes the best solution is a drain and refill if you can safely drain without damaging the spa.
Th pool and spa share the same DE filter, but have separate pumps.
Do you have Spillover mode or just Pool or Spa modes?

Can you explain what each pump does?
I am not sure about spillover mode, and after a brief search I have concluded I need to do more investigating.

One pump for the pool, one for the spa, and one for the water feature.

I turn on/off the spa pump via a Sandy handheld devise.

The Aqualink box is mounted on the wall just out of photo.

The valve on the far right with tape around the handle in the pic posted previously in the thread is the valve that is adjusted to get the other half of jets running while the spa pump is on.

Wanted to close the loop on this at least for now..

I fill up the pool to the top, did a quick backwash + added DE, gave it a couple days of a SLAM and the water is clear and on its way to being balanced!!.... right after I make some repairs to the water feature pump (leak between the pump and motor), and figure our why my spa drains down to the seat level overnight (but only sometimes).

Also ordered a refill for my K2006C test kit from TF Testkits!

As always thank yall for the support!
