Looking for a durable, eco-friendly pool cover

Looking for any recommendations for a durable, eco-friendly pool cover. We bought a house with a pool three years ago so this is all very new to us. The solar cover that came with the pool seemed to disintegrate by the end of that summer, just breaking down and leaving tons of plastic fragments in the skimmer basket. The new cover we bought lasted two seasons and the same thing happened.

I'd love to find something that will last longer and/or not just fill all our filtration stuff with bits of microplastic as it breaks down.

Two years is about right for a solar cover. Might get three if you really take care of it when off the pool and when stored. Get the cheapest one you can find.

sigh...................I hear ya! Many people have asked the same thing. We have seen it time and again The findings have been it does not matter how much the cover costs. It will go to the waste pile in a season or two.
