I've been visiting this forum for years, finally bit the bullet and ordered a TF-100, as my pool is now in a state that has humbled me. I'll post my issue in an appropriate thread once I have test results from the new kit. I'm pretty sure the long term fix is a drain/refill, but it's a bit too hot in Phoenix to do this now.
