We just bought a new home with our first pool and the pool is quite old.
The pool has a leak in it and is losing about 1-2" per day.
The pool material is Diamond Brite and needs to be resurfaced.
Before we bought the home a leak fixing company came by and replaced the skimmer and filled a leak by the skimmer. But it seems that they missed other leaks in the pool.
My question is are the leak and the aging pool surface related or unrelated? Should I get the pool leak fixed first, and then the pool resurfaced, or should I hire one company to do both resurfacing the pool and fixing the leaks?
Thanks for any advice.
