I know my FCI is low (zero) but all other measurements are in the good ranges - I added shock, but it doesn't seem to have helped yet. I have a 24' round 54" high above ground pool. I added the recommended amount of shock, but the reading is still the same after a full day. The water is beautiful & clear, but am worried the balance is not right and not sure if I need to add more shock?? Help this beginner! Appreciate it so much. (PS I told my husband when we got the pool that I wouldn't ask him to do anything - he really didn't wnat it - so I have to master this!!!) :)

Welcome - I recommend spending a few good minutes reading the Pool School articles available over on the left.
Liquid chlorine is what you need to raise FC immediately - don't wait too long or algae will take hold.
