Just bought house with Pool. Been reading here for about a month to prepare

Chemistry is holding
cya is really slow to dissolve but most of it is now in suspension

I'll test cya in a few days

moving in Wednesday and plan to use the spa for first time Friday

Dallas area has had rain the last few days and my salt level is falling ...
2800 to 2500 in last 2 days

wondering if if I just leave it alone for now since the water temp is low and the swg is off

Yes, I don't usually start working on salt levels until the water gets back to around 70 in the spring.

higher RPMs make a ton of noise

I don't know if it is normal for THAT pump but mine (see siggy for size) cannot really be heard when it is on even if I am stating right there.

Mine is only loud when at or near max rpm
Make its a back pressure thing

Today was the first day actually waking up at the new house so the fun begins
