Jet direction

I have a 16x32 Grecian pool. I have one skimmer and two jets located beneath the skimmer. Which way should the jets be pointed? Toward the shallow or deep end? I plan to cap the Polaris return since I am switching to a robot.

Welcome to TFP.

It really does not matter. Try each for a while and see which one you like better.

That is a lousy return placement for returns to be near the skimmer. It does not give you good circulation.

That’s exactly what I thought. I’m no longer using the Polaris port. Would it help to put an eyeball on it and turn them all in the same direction?

Not really. All those jets in the same general area do little. You are just dividing up the return flow between more holes in basically the same area.

You can try it and see.
