Jandy JXi400 and Aqualink RS485 Issue

Hi All, had an issue with my JXi and Aqualink control. It appears they are having sporadic communication. Upon power on the heater allows manual control, and then will display the message that it is being remotely controlled, then after a few minutes the display reverts back.

I unplugged the RS485 connection from the Aqualink and the heater appears to work fine under manual control.

I've reterminated the connections for the RS485 block to no avail. I've checked the part of cable that is visible (most is inside a conduit) and does not appear to have any issues. Other than checking the cable end to end - sny other suggestions? Could it be the power interface board is going bad?

Can you run a new temporary cable outside the conduit to confirm if the cable is the problem?

That is a great idea and disappointed in myself that I didn't think of that. I'll do that to.orrow and report back.
