Hello

Brand new E Pro installed

pump turns on and stays on for about 30 seconds to 1 minute then it turns off
..then will turn on again after about 10 seconds and cycle repeats

anyone have any idea why the pump is doing this?

jandy rs panel / iaqualink

Is the EPump wired to continuous power, not through the filter pump relay?

connected wth normal L1, L2 wiring from pump to pool panel
turns on via iaqualink app and when put on service mode/filter pumo

i believe i hear the relay click ahen activated

but the pump doesnt stay on longer than 30 seconds
The pump needs to be powered from the LINE screws of the relay, not the LOAD screws.

Verify where the pump power is coming from.

this is the relay

is this the power your refering to?

thanks for your reply
That relay looks like all the devices are powered from the LOAD side which is incorrect if one of them is a VS pump.

In addition I see 3 wires under one LOAD screw and 2 wires under the other LOAD screw. What are the 3 devices being powered?

That wiring is sloppy with a mix of stranded and solid wires.

Is the pump on a GFCI CB as required by code?

You can power the pump directly from the breaker so that it has continuous power.

The pump is controlled by the communication wires, not by a relay turning the power on and off.
