Hi there! Ordered what I thought was the correct diverter for the below valve but what came didn’t have a hole in the bottom to sit on the pin in the valve itself- I’ve searched and searched but I’m not sure the model and most pictures in the descriptions don’t show if it has a hole at the bottom of the diverter or not . First pic is valve - second is old diverter with hole at bottom

Post a picture of the new diverter you ordered. Post a picture looking into the valve body with cover off and diverter removed.
For some reason, that old diverter reminds me of a Compool (Pentair) diverter rather than a Jandy. Usually, you can't swap diverters between brands though, and I never tried. The ridges at the bottom and the hole aren't something I ever remember seeing on a Jandy. Haven't seen one like that in a very long time. This is a Pentair diverter:
