Intex legs pulling in due to overtight band

I am currently filling a new Intex Prism frame pool.
I have been baby sitting the legs all day and pulling them straight when necessary.
I am at 18 inch deep , and almost perfectly level but 3 legs will not go straight. They pull inwards slightly .The band is too tight to allow them too come out further. So annoying because the liner is flat and wrinkle free ( for the first time ever ! ) ! It's not drastic and they still are not touching the liner yet. Ive looked at videos of the prism frame and most peoples pools seem to have the same issue. I wonder if they are meant to pull in a bit ? Any thoughts ? I am tempted the cut the strap and make it bigger / use an adjustable ratchet strap instead. Anyone tried this?

Pool is now at 22inch (more than half full) but I cant get the legs to pull out any more . The band is too tight.
They are only off by about 1-2 cm off being straight. I think I am over thinking this but I was always able to straighten the legs on my old Ultra pool.

I am glad to know I’m not the only one with this issue. Thanks!
