I'm in the process of opening my pool and I'm having trouble getting my pool timer to turn on and start the filter. I have an INTERMATIC P1353ME. Everything worked fine last year when I closed the pool I turned off the circuit breaker off for the winter and then I turned the circuit breaker back on to start the pool. I cycled through all the programming and it all looks to still be correct. The only thing I had to do was change the time to the correct time. When I press either circuit 1 or 2 the timer buzzes for a few seconds and then buzzes again approximately every 5 minutes for a few seconds but doesn't start. I've tried manually starting the timer by pressing on/off button on both circuit 1 and 2 and setting the count down timer but the timer won't start the filter pump. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be going on or anything else I should try?

Use your multimeter to test the continuity of each circuit when the timer is turned on.
The timer may have failed and need replacement.
