I recently got a pool built and I’m in the stage where I’m using liquid chlorine instead of salt. I’m scheduled to start using my swg next week, so I decided to read the manual. Upon reading it, I saw that the swg is supposed to be mounted vertically. I’ve noticed the my swg is mounted horizontally, which a slight incline. I didn’t know if this would be a major issue, or if I should request the swg be reinstalled properly. I have a Pentair intellichlor ic40. I’ve attached a picture of what mine looks like installed currently.

The manual says the cell can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Your cell is fine as is.
