IntelliCenter Intake and Return Valves

I have been an IntelliCenter user for quite a while now. One of my neighbors has asked for help and I am stumped.

He has a hot tub and pool. His valve’s are not working properly and I can’t figure out how to control them. I set up my pool so I can directly control all my valves by setting them up as Valve A, Valve B etc. On his pool his Valves are configured as Intake and Return. The valves move when the Pool is turned on. However, they go to the wrong spot. When I select Spa they aren’t moving correctly to allow Spa and Heater usage.

When I go to a setting to configure his valves they are grayed out.

I would prefer not to rewire his system and move the valves. What is the best way to control his valve movement?

He has a PS Pool/Spa system.

You have a P Pool only system.

With a PS system the Intake and Return valves are hard coded and cannot be changed in their operation.

You say valves are not moving correctly but do not describe what they are or not doing.

Specifically describe where the valve is in POOL mode and what it does or does not do when changing to SPA mode.

Showing us pics of both states are even better then words.

Thanks for the quick response. I figured it out. He must have flipped the valve switches so they were out of sync with the programming. When I put them in the right place, it is working fine.
