we thought these were grass seeds. Our pool is in a pasture setting. Upon closer inspection they appear to be insects, full grown and smaller. Can anyone identify a solution. Constant skimming hasn’t really helped. 😢 grass I could swim with but these things are creeping me out now.

Springtails. Constant battle for me. I've tried spraying around the perimeter of the pool area, but they have no respect for an insecticide boundary. Onslaught, Demand G Granules, and Talstar P haven't helped me much. If you look close, you should see them crawling on the deck towards the pool. They don't fly and don't bite. They eventually die in the pool.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Do they ever go away, are they perhaps seasonal? I’m in Georgia and it is most always humid here. I’ll do the research now that you’ve identified the little pests for me.
