Identifying 1970s Pentair Skimmer

Is there any good way to identify an old skimmer? Is there any place that a serial/model # would have been molded into one of the parts?
I need to replace a skimmer faceplate, gasket, and the entire set of faceplate screws and am having a hard time finding what I need.

Typically the lid has a part number or other identifying marks.

I found out it is actually a Hayward 1084.
The pool store that did the liner replacement actually had that written down in their notes somewhere...
