I'm sorry. Im not knocking the code in general. Pool math helped me a ton too. It's just that I don't need most of it if I set up the app the way I am thinking. Sorry if it came across that way.

Are you trying to promote poolpal or something? I made this app for me and I thought people would benefit from it so I shared. Poolpal only works on android and hasn't been updated in years so I couldn't use it and many others can't either.

I use the Pool Pal app but applaud your efforts here. I just want to get off all the updates and don't know how to do it. Nothing personal.
Cick settings upper right, subscriptions lower left and uncheck the notification box for this thread.
To all, the pool logger is still very much in beta but it works enough that I want everyone to use it. So registration is open to all now. Go to poollogger.com and sign up if you want. Have fun! Let me know if you have any problems and make sure to check your junk mail if you don't see the registration email.
I am excited. I just made the functions for changing Ph. I am hoping to add this to the pool logger in the next few days. Stay tuned. Still trying to think about how best to display the suggestions and what to include in the settings panel.

Liking the logger. Like the fact it reminds you to test. Would really like to be able to set the amount of time between the test reminders. In other words, I would like to set the logger to remind me to test every day for FC, but only once a week for pH. You know make it flexible so that I can set it to my schedule.

I don't think I would want text messages. Just seeing it when I record is fine with me. I do like holydoc's idea though. My pH is pretty stable and don't need to test every day.

Yes it does match. I tested it a bunch.
It is always spot on when I put the info in poolmath to figure my chlorine addition and then put numbers in poollogger.
It's about to do most of the other calcs too but tailored to the types of chemicals you use. (I.e. - which strength of bleach and MA you have in hand)
