I have green algae and shocked the pool Friday. Today (Sunday), i have this - white stuff on the top of the pool. Thoughts?

You need to follow the SLAM Process. To do that, you need a proper test kit. I suggest the TF-100 / TFPRO or Taylor K2006C. A proper test kit is needed to get the accurate water chemistry results needed to follow the TFP protocols.
While you are waiting on your test kit, add 5 ppm FC worth of liquid chlorine / plain bleach to your pool each evening with the pump running. This will replenish the FC lost each day to the sun and also inhibit any algae in the water from growing further.

A salt pool is a chlorine pool.
Salt, when it passes through the equipment (a salt water chlorine generator) is turned into chlorine. As the chlorine reacts with teh organics in the water it turns back into salt.
Salt itself doesn't sanitize the water or kill anything.

Well, it seems obvious that your salt water chlorine generator is not creating enough chlorine to overcome the algae, so, yes, add more to keep it at bay until you can test properly.
