This is my second year winterizing pool myself. One of my autofill tanks seems to have cracked last year so I want to be sure I don make the same mistake twice. The new one came with a winterizing plug where water flows into the reservoir. The plug fits in where the fluid master valve goes. So I assume I remove the fluid masters and plug the area where water comes in. And I blow out the hose that connects the reservoir with my water supply. I also plug the area where water flows into the pool from the autofill. So I have no water in the line and water cannot enter from the pool. Question is do I need to do more within the tank to keep water from snow/ice/rain out? Should I be adding antifreeze anywhere?
