How to reduce salt?

We just got our chlorinator fixed. Because it was not working properly, unfortunately, the average salt level in the pool is now close to 4500. What’s the best way to bring it down to 3500 levels without draining and diluting the pool with fresh water? What if I switch off the chlorinator for a few days while the filter is running…will that take care of it?

Nope, only way to reduce salt level is draining.

Turn it off until the salinity is in the proper range.
