how to choose AGP?? (split from 'Hello in TN')

I just did a little study about who owns who and who makes what. Vogue pools are a Canadian company and they have been acquired by Wilbar International. Wilbar owns Sharkline, Seaspray, Aqua Leader, Artesian and Atlantic.

A very large percentage of pools purchased online are made by a Wilbar company. That does not make them bad by any means, there are some very good products in this group.

Companies manufacturing their own products would include Lomart, Doughboy, Cornelius, Asahi (Mighty Sun) and Swin'N Play.

My sum it up fast advice is to pay far more attention to the equipment package you are getting than how fancy the pool is. Or how long the warranty is, will you really ever use a prorated fifty year warranty. Prorated warranties simply mean that after a few years they can sell you a new pool without it costing them a dime. It may be 70% off to you, but it is at cost to them.

You will never enjoy a pool you cannot keep clean, put the money where it really matters.

Just some stuff to ponder, Dennis
